Product details The MQ6 Gas Sensor Module is a semiconductor-based gas detection device optimized for the measurement of LPG and related combustible gases. It features a sensitive SnO₂ sensing layer that varies resistance in the presence of target gases, producing an accurate proportional output via the analog pin. A digital output is also included, driven by an onboard LM393 comparator and adjustable through a potentiometer for threshold-based triggering. The module operates on 5V DC and includes visual LED indicators, making it simple to use in embedded applications without additional interface circuitry. Due to its high sensitivity, fast response time, and wide detection range, the MQ6 is widely used in leak detection, home automation, industrial safety, and IoT gas monitoring systems.
