Product Overview: The Ear Lobe Pulse Sensor, also known as an earlobe pulse ear clip sensor, is a non-invasive medical device that typically attaches to the ear lobe. It measures pulse rate. The sensor comprises two components: a light-emitting diode (LED) and a photodetector. The LED emits two wavelengths of light, subsequently red and infrared. The photodetector measures the intensity of the light that passes through the ear lobe tissue. Based on the differences in light absorption between oxygenated and deoxygenated blood, the sensor calculates the pulse rate. The device attaches to the ear lobe region of the ear. Features of Ear Lobe Sensor: Easy Interface with Arduino and other microcontrollers. 5V and 3.3V dual digital output. Fast Response and Accurate Results. Applications: Ear lobe sensors are commonly used in medical settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and during surgical procedures. They are also used in some consumer grade personal health monitoring.
